Teeny Tiny #1

Small in scale but rich in process, these one-of-a-kind miniature vases are created using the same traditional techniques as full-size work—hand-built clay construction, horsehair raku firing, and hours of hand-burnishing to achieve a soft, glazed-like sheen without glaze.

Each piece carries its own unique fire-marked surface, where smoke, flame, and carbon meet the clay in unpredictable, delicate patterns. Though less than 3" tall, they hold the same depth, intention, and craftsmanship as larger works—just distilled into a more intimate form.

Perfect as tiny sculptural objects, quiet shelf accents, paperweights or small vessels for paperclips, etc. Or just for fun!
