A one-of-a-kind hand-built form, “Shores of Sanibel” is sager fired using materials reclaimed from the beaches of Sanibel Island, FL—shells, organic debris, and coastal elements that leave behind rich, layered color and texture. Soft greens, warm rust tones, and ocean-worn patterns emerge naturally in the firing, evoking tidal landscapes and shifting shoreline.
With a smooth, satin finish, the piece preserves the raw interaction between clay, fire, and found coastal materials.
