Smoky gradients and horizon-like markings wrap the surface, created organically during the firing process, evoking distant landscapes and shifting terrain. Each piece is hand-burnished—a labor-intensive process involving hours of rubbing the surface by hand to achieve a soft, polished sheen without the use of glaze.
